I'm the publisher of The Sanford Herald. A native of Sanford, I did most of my growing up in Blue Rapids, Kansas, a small (pop. 1,298) town along the Big Blue River (OK, so it was brown) in the northeast part of the state. I graduated in 1985 from the University of Kansas' William Allen White School of Journalism and became publisher of The Herald in 1998. My wife, Lee Ann, and I have three children.
